Description
When the author, a renowned opera singer who had 'gold in her throat' since childhood, lost her voice, she realized that something was wrong in the pedagogy of singing. She recognized that it is primarily the very conception of voice and tone as something material that is flawed. And if this conception is erroneous, then the approach practiced in singing schools must necessarily be faulty as well. The consequence is damage and ultimately loss of voice. Therefore, she created her own school, which is entirely different and completely new in its conception and approach, a school where the voice is not trained but revealed. In the book, she details the individual phases of voice revelation, as well as the principles of proper breathing, the use of the tongue, and other components of the singing apparatus, and explains what actually happens during singing.
