Příběhy víly Březinky – Svobodová Lenka (2019)

The stories of the fairy Březinka are a fairy tale narrative about a forest fairy who becomes part of a human family. With Anička, Lukáš, and their parents, fairy Březinka experiences various adventures and tells them about the lives of animals, trees, and forest beings. Occasionally, she uses a bit of magic, but mostly she relies on her keen judgment and loving approach to all living things. She helps not only the members of her new family but also a mare that brings a foal into the world. However, there will be moments when she herself gets into trouble – and that is when the character of her new friends is revealed. The reader thus experiences a year month by month with the fairy. They will learn about significant cycles in nature and become acquainted with the life of the pine forest and its inhabitants. In the individual stories, the visible world intertwines with the world of 'supernatural' beings, and the presence of fairies, elves, and other creatures proves that there is something between heaven and earth that we adults often overlook. The book is meant to be an occasionally thrilling, educational, but above all, kind read for young readers with open minds.
