The main goal of the book is to help the reader become aware of the difficulties associated with dyslexia, their possible negative impact on acquiring the English language (or foreign language in general), and above all, to offer methods, strategies, and teaching techniques that eliminate these negative influences. The publication is unique in that it was created in collaboration with experts in English language teaching and a special educator. This multidisciplinary team aimed to connect the knowledge and perspectives of special education and English didactics. Educators will find not only explanations of what dyslexia is and how it affects foreign language learning, but also specific ideas for structuring a typical lesson, in this case, English. Lesson plans are placed on one side of the book, and on the opposite side are comments on how to adapt the activity for students with dyslexia. Teachers will also find specific materials that can be used in teaching. The book is primarily intended for English teachers, but it will also inspire instructors of other foreign languages who are considering how to differentiate foreign language teaching as much as possible and adapt it to the individual needs of children.
