The workbook 'Reading is Fun 5' is a modern educational material, full of interesting tasks and images, developed according to the latest trends and in accordance with the RVP ZV. A strong emphasis is placed on the development of reading literacy along with the development of key competencies in children, particularly the competence to learn and the competence to solve problems. The workbook complements the 'Reader for 5th Grade' from the 'Reading with Understanding' series, and its great advantage is that it can also be used with other readers or independently. The tasks and other activities are based on literary excerpts that you will find directly in the workbook. The workbook is suitable for all students, including children with learning disabilities, as well as exceptionally gifted children. You will find both simple and more complex exercises here. A portion of the workbook is dedicated to further work with excerpts that children are familiar with from the reader. You can easily recognize this – if the text is from the reader, you will find a link to the corresponding page in the reader below it. Working with a familiar text is thus easier for children, and even those with learning disabilities can manage it better and experience success. Part of the workbook contains literary excerpts from other children's books and associated exercises. Familiar texts from the reader and excerpts from other books are arranged alternately.
