The workbook "Entry into the 2nd Grade" is designed for reviewing and reinforcing the curriculum of the 1st grade in the areas of reading and writing at the end of the 1st grade or for revisiting the material at the beginning of the 2nd grade. The reading curriculum is systematically arranged from the first syllables and simple words with an open syllable, focusing particularly on difficult phenomena. The writing curriculum gradually practices writing letters, letter connections, writing syllables and words that are practiced in the reading section. The workbook can also be used later and repeatedly, for example, when working with children with learning disabilities. Suitable for whole class work as well as for individual instruction. Tasks are assigned using simple symbols, making them understandable for children even without adult assistance. Only at the end of the workbook are there a few verbal clarifications in the assignments. For teachers and parents, a table of contents is included at the beginning for quick orientation in the workbook. You can further use the workbook as needed – additional ideas for work: dividing words into syllables, searching for letters, syllables, forming word combinations and sentences with given words, forming word combinations and sentences with given pictures, transcribing syllables, words.
