Prvouka 1 – učebnice pro 1. ročník ZŠ – Nováková Zdislava (2022)

A modern colorful textbook developed in accordance with the RVP ZV and published as part of the Reading with Understanding series aimed at supporting reading literacy through experiential learning methods. The textbook is divided into six thematic units (School, Autumn, Winter, Time, Home, Spring, Human Body, and Summer) and is enriched with numerous images and real photographs. An innovative element includes thematic poems, rhymes, and riddles. The goal of the textbook is to spark children's interest in the world around them in an engaging and age-appropriate manner and to motivate them for further exploration. The real world of children also plays a significant role. Methodological guidelines at the bottom of the page facilitate working with the textbook and provide instructions on how to work with the exercises, topics, and questions presented. The textbook also includes tasks focused on ethical education, questions and tasks related to interdisciplinary connections, ideas for group work, games, and competitions. A colorful workbook complements the textbook – for easier navigation, each page of the workbook corresponds to the same page number in the textbook. The textbook is followed by Prvouka 2, the Reading with Understanding series – a textbook for the 2nd grade of elementary school developed in a similar manner.
