However, the local swindler tailor Klouzek robs him of the quill and other magical hellish items, which the local cunning, lazy, and deceitful people use to take control of Pytlov, even managing to abolish hell and imprison the devils! Bonifác has his work cut out for him to save the village, the devils, and the beautiful innocent Markétka, whom he is head over heels in love with.
