Fourteen Czech writers have been inspired by reading the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and created an original collection of thirty stories that uniquely reflect all thirty articles of this key document of the 20th century. The stories are followed by a brief reflection on the future of not only human rights. The diversity of the texts is complemented by the work of thirty-one illustrators who accompany each text. The Declaration project also includes a series of interviews (podcasts) with philosopher Daniel Kroupa, offering readers deeper insights into human rights issues. In the concluding debate, Tomáš Sedláček and Klára Laurenčíková also reflect on the future of human rights alongside him. All interviews can be listened to by scanning the individual QR codes in the book. The Czech version of the declaration was narrated by Monika Načeva.
