The book presents, against the backdrop of more than one and a half centuries of activity of the company Pittel & Brausewetter, a picture of the development of construction in the Czech lands against the economic development and the development of construction in general. It closely follows the developmental lines of concrete construction up to the end of the 1930s, as well as the development and evolution of management methods in construction, particularly in the Czech lands, which became a model for other countries in the implementation of concrete and reinforced concrete as a fundamental direction in construction.
