Swedish journalist Hans-Ake Lilja presents here, after several decades since its first publication, the rare King short story The Blue Compressor, which has not appeared in any collection by this famous author, and adds a colorful mix of mostly darkly themed stories by authors such as Clive Barker, Ramsey Campbell, Stewart O'Nan, and Jack Ketchum (here in collaboration with P. D. Caceková). The collection is crowned by a brand new novella by John Ajvide Lindqvist. Aside from the classic chilling tale The Tell-Tale Heart by E. A. Poe, all the stories in this book have their Czech premiere.
