The most complex adventure will catch up with the scribe Argonant after fifteen years since the beginning of his journey, described in the novel Seven Fish (Beletris, 2014). Argonant is accompanied by his wife Judita, who plays the most dangerous and actually the main role in this story. This story was not meant to be told to friends, as in other cases, but was to remain a secret within the family. Despite this, it found its way into a volume of popular reading, referred to as the "Kostelecký Manuscript," discovered during the return of documents back to the Stvolínec Castle from the state archive after the floods of 2002. Through the complicated journey from Argonant's private Latin manuscript to today's book, we believe that some typical peculiarities of Argonant's medieval style, recurring in his other stories, have managed to be preserved.
