Description
The book "Micro:bit Step by Step" is intended for both complete beginners who are just getting acquainted with the Micro:bit and programming, as well as more advanced users who already have experience with electronics and programming. The book includes examples, ideas for experiments and games, as well as brief "cheat sheets" and methodological sheets, making it useful not only at home but also in school teaching. The book describes the most commonly used kits and expansion modules available in the Czech Republic. The author primarily uses beginner programming with the MakeCode block editor for introductory explanations. However, the book also contains a reference guide for programming in JavaScript or Python and addresses more advanced topics, such as the internal message queue in the Micro:bit operating system or creating custom extensions (i.e., libraries). Thus, the book represents the first comprehensive Czech material on the educational platform Micro:bit, suitable for both beginners and advanced users.
