Soup is for us the embodiment of home, the environment where we live and feel good. Bowls from Czech and Slovak designers represent exactly what we consider so important — roots and traditions. We have filled them with soups from all corners of the world. They beautifully showcase how wonderfully diverse it is. This connection is very important to us precisely because of its symbolism. Without a vessel, there is no content. And a vessel without content, even if it may be beautiful in itself, is still just an empty vessel. We love soups and we also love design, which is why we decided to combine content and vessel into one whole. Each soup thus has its original bowl from Czech and Slovak designers who chose to collaborate with us. The book contains a brief guide on what goes well in soup and what is good for its preparation. Original soup recipes are complemented by basic broth recipes with stunning photographs, a recipe for the bowl, and a gallery of bowls with designer profiles.
