Thirteen years ago, in collaboration with the publishing house Agentura KRIGL in Prague, I published two herbariums. Due to their success, I decided to revisit the theme of herbariums, but in a slightly different form, placing them in the world of Angel Tales. In this book, we return once again to the old mill. You will find many fairy tale stories featuring the little angel Lucinka, the little devil Toník, and their friends. These inseparable buddies will introduce you to more than twenty plants that you can commonly find throughout the year in meadows, parks, and gardens. Unlike the original herbariums, this book focuses mainly on old traditions, customs, rituals, and legends. You can read many interesting facts about how people processed various herbs in ancient times and what they used them for. We return to the time when housewives in wooden cottages dried linden flowers, raspberry leaves, made syrups from plantains, girls wove wreaths in the meadows, and picked St. John's flowers... The herbarium also includes worksheets where you can stick, draw, or otherwise artistically depict individual flowers, note the date and place of their occurrence, or even paste a photograph.
