Description
Father Filip Maria Antonín Stajner (1964–2021) was a Roman Catholic priest who spent the last twenty years of his life battling the severe illness ALS, which typically leads to death within a few months or a few years. Despite this, he left behind an extensive body of translation, spiritual, and literary work. "Today it would be possible..." Father Filip would say about the first Saturdays. And he could imagine that on such a day, under the protection of the Virgin Mary, he could cross over to the other side of existence, into God's embrace. This wish was fulfilled on Saturday, May 1, 2021. The personality of Father Filip is brought closer by numerous testimonies from his close friends and spiritual children, and we can also seek answers in many of his texts, in which a golden thread runs through the desire to convey to everyone that God is Love.
