Description
The full-color publication "Náměšť nad Oslavou Yesterday and Today" captures the city on the border of Vysočina and South Moravian Region through pairs of historical and contemporary photographs, with the castle being its dominant feature, which became the residence of President Edvard Beneš after World War II. Most of the historical images are by local native and prominent photographer Ondřej Knoll. Historical photos are complemented by contemporary images by Jiří Polehla and an engaging text by archivist and historian František Gregor, who describes various places in the town on the Oslava River.
