The full-color publication presents local parts of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and surrounding municipalities through old postcards. It covers a total of 22 municipalities, and the book is divided into three chapters according to the individual areas of Bystřice. The first chapter is dedicated to the immediate surroundings of Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and the municipalities of Karasín, Vítochov, Domanín, Rovné, Bohuňov, Aušperk, Pivonice, Lesoňovice, Lísek, Věchnov, and the Zubštejn Castle. The second chapter includes the municipalities of Dalečín, Unčín, Ubušínek, Sulkovec, Polom, Chlum-Korouhvice, and Písečné. The third chapter presents the municipalities of Rovečné, Nyklovice, Věstín, Velké Tresné, and Prosetín. Historical postcards are complemented by photographs that offer readers a comparison of the past and present.
