Description
Temporary electrical devices are mentioned in the ESČ Regulations of 1950 in Part X, Head H "Devices with professional operation and provisional". For temporary electrical devices, the ČSN 34 1090 Regulations for Temporary Electrical Devices from 1976 (approved in 1973) was in effect for a relatively long time, replacing the same standard from 1961. Standardization in electrical engineering underwent numerous changes, especially during the 1990s, when standards from the ČSN 33 2000 series were adopted. The method of assessing the safety of technical devices changed, and the technical standards underwent a process of unification with the requirements of international and European standards. Therefore, the standard was revised and issued as ČSN 34 1090 ed. 2:2011 Low Voltage Electrical Installations – Regulations for Temporary Electrical Devices. Related to temporary devices are ČSN 33 2000-7-704 ed. 2, ČSN 33 2000-7-711, ČSN 33 2000-7-740, and TNI 33 2000-7-711. Compared to the previous standard, the new standard…
