Description
When Germany is firmly in the grip of Nazism, resistance awakens in a young woman. Together with her brother and friends, Sophie Scholl begins printing and distributing leaflets opposing terror and fascism. As a committed pacifist, she fights dictatorship and stands up for justice with the White Rose resistance group, while her partner Fritz Hartnagel builds a career as an officer in the German Wehrmacht. At the front, he too begins to doubt. Based on their correspondence, this Czech-language graphic biography shows how Sophie Scholl became a resistance fighter who refuses to abandon her ideals, even in the face of a death sentence.
