The book builds on the basic textbook of mathematics for students of the University of Economics. It expands on the material covered in the basic course in linear algebra and mathematical analysis. Linear algebra is primarily extended to include quadratic forms and the characteristic numbers and vectors of matrices. In mathematical analysis, greater attention is paid to the extremes of functions of more than two variables, improper integrals, and also double integrals. The book may be useful not only for students of the University of Economics.
