Description
At the end of the nineteenth century, a brief window of time opened during which even brave men from Bohemia and Moravia could become sailors and explore new lands. However, before the Imperial and Royal Navy could engage in serious action, its competitors had already visited all continents and fertile lands. Only a few inhospitable regions remained to be discovered. Men from across the empire, including Teplice, Chomutov, Kroměříž, and Přerov, set sail north, and thanks to them, we now have Brněnský Cape, Teplický Bay, and Stoličkův Island on the maps of distant seas. As promising as it all began, it ended just as quickly. Ships, expeditions, the navy, and the empire itself.
