Description
The book describes the story of the Czech "television crisis" of 2000. It captures the events and actions of those who were involved on one side or the other. It highlights the behind-the-scenes motives and causes of the entire event and publishes, for the first time to this extent, facts and documents proving that "freedom of speech" was the last reason why the television crisis occurred, more precisely: why and by whom it was deliberately provoked. And also - with what consequence: a growing skepticism of the public towards democratic orders and procedures, which will long mark all domestic political developments in the country.
