Description
Little Alenka is going to spend the whole winter with her little dog Sisinka in the highest Czech mountains, the Krkonoš, at her grandmother's house. In a small wooden cottage in solitude live two conceited cats, Máša and Dáša, and a big dog, Karel, who has to keep an eye on everyone. But Dáša is very naughty, and without the help of the protector of the mountains, Krakonoš, and the other animals, who knows how the disobedient little cat would fare. This fairy tale has a happy ending. All the animals here speak human language. The book is intended for beginner readers and preschool children, but the story with a good ending will also delight adults.
