Description
When Kamila enters the world, everyone rejoices that there is another little person in the world. However, the baby is born into a Catholic family where the mother has 'betrayed' almost everything possible and faces a cruel punishment for it. Kamila's childhood is stolen, and no one sees it. Not even the priest! She survives day by day. As soon as she comes of age, she leaves the church and flees across the borders to distant Asia. With a backpack on her back, she discovers that there are people everywhere willing to help her and learns that there are other religions as well. Will she find not only her lost faith in herself, dignity, and a loving partner? And what will happen to the one who caused her and her mother great scars on their souls? The second part of the book takes place in Asia, where the author traveled with a backpack, and most of the places and events that Kamila encounters she experienced firsthand.
