Description
Lojzík would be a cheerful and quite ordinary little pig if his nose did not resemble an elephant’s trunk. His short-nosed siblings often tease him, and he himself wonders why he is different from the others and who his real family is. Eventually, accompanied by his friend Čeperák the sparrow, he sets off on an adventurous journey to the zoo, where he meets many animals, gains plenty of experience and learns the valuable lesson that what matters is not how you look, but what you are like inside and what you can do. He can then return to the farm and begin a happy life with his family and friends. This charming book by illustrator Pavel Ondrašík, who was also involved in the successful animated film Kozí příběh, features a text by Táňa Rybenská and offers an engaging story with a message and illustrations sure to appeal not only to children.
