The new workbook is designed to prepare children for entry into the 1st grade of elementary school in kindergarten or a preparatory class of elementary school – the educational content for children in the preparatory class follows the Framework Educational Program for Preschool Education and is part of the school educational program. It is created in accordance with the RVP PV and in line with the material "Specified Expected Outcomes" (ref. no. MSMT-9482/2012-22), which supplements the RVP PV. The specified outcomes clarify the requirements for individual expected outcomes in the form of activities and opportunities so that it is entirely clear what and to what extent a child should be able to achieve by the end of preschool education. The workbook offers tasks presented in the form of worksheets with instructions on how to work with the sheet. Therefore, it can be used not only by teachers but also potentially by the children's parents. The content of the sheets and other tasks is adapted to the course of the school year. They can thus be incorporated into weekly plans, taking into account the current situation and conditions in the area.
