The monograph comprehensively addresses the issue of participation in civil court proceedings according to the legal regulation effective from January 1, 2014, namely according to the recodification amendment of the Civil Procedure Code and the new Act on Special Court Proceedings. It focuses on defining the concept of a participant and its legal definition, as well as the prerequisites for participation. Furthermore, it explains the institutes of procedural community of participants, accession and changes of participants, main and ancillary interventions, and procedural succession.
