The publication is clearly divided into nine chapters, in which the author addresses both the history of rosé production in the world and in our country, as well as its current state in detail. It introduces readers to the main areas of rosé wine production and familiarizes them with regional peculiarities. The statistics on rosé wine production in the Czech Republic over the last decade are extensively processed. Its overview indicates the current strong position of rosé wines in our country and the trend of its strengthening in the coming years. Another section is dedicated to basic technological practices and varieties for rosé production, types of rosé wine colors, typical rosé wines, and their use in gastronomy. The book is supplemented with numerous images that highlight the technological as well as commercial peculiarities of rosé wines. The author has utilized his practical experience in producing this modern category of wines and also theoretical knowledge gained during his foreign travels and his doctoral thesis specifically on rosé wines.
