It showed him struggling against the fury of the approaching hurricane in South Carolina, digging his feet into the ground to keep from being swept away by the "storm," and shouting to be heard above the noise of the wind. The reporter was unaware that during his dramatic live shot, residents were calmly walking behind him, unaffected by the hurricane winds.
