Náš boj s Islámským státem – Balík Stanislav (2017)

After years of our amateur journalistic efforts to provide a somewhat clear depiction of the threat that radicalized Islam poses to Western civilization, a much-needed military analysis finally arrives. Focused on the Islamic State, it traces the West's complicity in its emergence through the "export of democracy" and "nation-building." In other words, by toppling dictatorial but diplomatically manageable regimes and replacing them with "free" elections that generate the worst outbursts of medieval cruelty and revive the traditional role of Islam as a conqueror of the world. Although today it is on the brink of defeat in its original territory, the Islamic State, as a global revolutionary movement, has metastasized into dozens of countries, including Europe, where it creates its own Islamist enclaves governed by its laws and culture, exerting constant pressure for the Islamization of the indigenous society. This occurs in contrast to the helplessness, incapacity, if not collaboration, of European political elites. The authors of the book – both soldiers – conclude at the end of their dramatic description of the Islamization of Europe that events are surpassing the bounds of political resolution, and Europe will soon be left with the choice of armed defense or civilizational extinction.
