I have seen all the episodes of the series American Chopper. I have watched how the show changes, grows, and experiments. I have seen motorcycles being built for amusement parks, helicopter manufacturers, truck manufacturers, car manufacturers, ice cream makers, heavy machinery suppliers, sound equipment manufacturers, bowling companies, Bill Murray, Billy Joel, some magician no one has heard of, people who sent in requests for motorcycles, the New York Giants football team, the New York Jets, firefighters, veterans injured in Iraq, professional golfer Russell Crowe, Jay Leno, a camping equipment store, some guy from Minnesota who builds themed restaurants, gym thugs, basketball players from the Yankees, the University of Michigan, a widow. You see where this is heading. Soon we will all have a custom chopper from Orange County Choppers. I rode on three of those motorcycles – once with Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, and the Teutuls in Manhattan in the rain. I have seen the workshop transform from a warehouse into an exclusive 30,000 square foot global headquarters. I have seen employees come and go. Where is that first painter today?
