Description
The workbook by Zdena Malá, director of the ÚJOP Krystal center, is a supplement to the publication by Lída Holá and Pavla Bořilová: Czech Step by Step 2. It offers a wealth of activities and exercises aimed at practicing the phenomena discussed in the individual lessons of the textbook, with an emphasis on vocabulary and grammar. More challenging exercises are also included, suitable for faster or more advanced students, and will be appreciated by students from Slavic countries. These supplementary exercises are marked with a plus sign. All tasks, comments, and explanations are provided only in Czech. The vocabulary used in the exercises or texts corresponds to the glossary of the textbook Czech Step by Step 2. The workbook can be used not only as a supplement in Czech classes but also for independent home preparation or self-study. An essential part of it is the answer key to the exercises, included at the end of the publication.
