Czech Expres 2 (level A1/2) is a revised and expanded edition of the popular textbook Czech Expres 2. The publication represents the second part of a two-volume basic course in 'survival Czech' (continuing from Czech Expres 1). The new version of the textbook meets the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference and is intended for beginners who want to quickly achieve language level A1. In seven practically oriented lessons, those interested in Czech will learn to navigate and respond in basic communication situations (e.g., topics such as Home and Apartment, At the Doctor's, Visiting, Looking for a Job, etc.). The textbook focuses on mastering speaking and listening skills. Czech grammar is maximally simplified here, and students discover it themselves through texts and clear tables. Czech Expres 2 consists of a monolingual, Czech-written textbook, which now also includes a workbook, and an Appendix with vocabulary, grammar tables, and explanations that facilitate the understanding of Czech in the student's native language (English, German, and Russian versions are also being published, with more languages in preparation).
