Description
The new textbook is based on the curriculum for vocational secondary schools and apprenticeship programs for the subject Basics of Ecology. In accordance with this, it includes not only an introduction to ecology but also a broader geographical perspective on environmental issues. The material, divided into basic and extended sections, is accompanied by numerous examples from home and around the world. It is organized into thematic areas: Basics of Ecology, Components of the Environment, Artificial Ecosystems, and Nature and Environmental Protection. The last of the 32 chapters provides examples of environmental projects suitable for schools. The text is supplemented with photographs, maps, and graphs. The design of the textbook allows for its use in higher vocational schools, in ecological education at high schools, and other educational institutions. The title has the endorsement of the Ministry of Education, includes 120 pages with 113 color illustrations.
