Pas de bleme! Slovník slangu a hovorové francouzštiny (2012)

Three years have passed since the release of the first version of our dictionary of colloquial French and slang, and given the dynamic development that youth slang undergoes, we have decided to prepare a new edition for Czech users. We have expanded the dictionary with additional completely new words and phrases. The number of entries alone has increased by over six hundred. We have carefully monitored the language of the media, discussion forums, and the blogosphere, searching the latest dictionaries of French slang to help Czech users better understand films or song lyrics and not get lost in communication with friends in cafes, at school, or online. We have also teamed up with leading expert on French slang, PhDr. Alena Polická, Ph.D., and her students from the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University. This collaboration has helped expand the dictionary with additional information that will allow you to uncover the richness and specificity of French slang. Each entry is accompanied by numerous example sentences and established phrases. Thanks to these, the Czech user will understand how the given expression is used in everyday speech.
