A completely new authorial grammar of contemporary Hungarian. It includes all common grammatical phenomena in a clear graphic layout, without excessive use of technical terminology that might deter those interested in Hungarian. Our goal was to explain each grammatical phenomenon with a simple and clear rule and to illustrate it with a wealth of practical examples. Users can easily master the phenomenon and subsequently apply the acquired knowledge in everyday communication. The example sentences are carefully selected from contemporary press and reliable internet sources to truly reflect the current form of Hungarian. The sentences are always translated into Czech, which allows for better memorization and vocabulary enrichment. This concise guide is not an exhaustive theoretical treatise on all grammatical phenomena but a practical assistant for the average user studying Hungarian.
