Description

The first authorial collection by Martin Štrunc is a simple expression of the diversity of life's palette, whose colors have many shades and forms, and whose final shape is ultimately always in our hands. The collection, composed mainly of song lyrics, poetic aphorisms, short lyrical stories, and poems, deals with the perception of life from the perspective of the individual and humanity as a whole. The individual chapters describe the pitfalls and joys of existence, after experiencing which comes the feeling of understanding the meaning of balance in our lives. From this understanding arises the idea that we are all equal and we all have the same problems, and above all, that each of us holds our presence in our hands, even though it may sometimes seem to us that the opposite is true. Perhaps the main supporting moments of this collection were best captured by Petr Holman when he wrote about it: "Everything that is, has already been; human life is still as colorful as before, multicolored, colorfully ruthless and loving, painfully and with unspeakable tenderness, the certainty of the uncertainty of the contemporary world and life in it often outweighs the swaying painful certainty of the existence of something fundamental, call it love, faith, or whatever you wish..."
