Description
The book is a depiction of the story of phenomenological differences concerning the nature of phenomena. As the title suggests, it focuses primarily on the new French phenomenology. The author analyzes the phenomenological concepts of Maurice Merleau-Ponty, Michel Henry, Emmanuel Levinas, Marc Richir, and Jean-Luc Marion in detail. Complementing the book is the previously published anthology of texts on contemporary French phenomenology, "What is a Phenomenon?" (Pavel Mervart, 2010).
