Description
The third continent in this book is South America. The author traveled through it as a solitary traveler between March 1 and July 11, 2007, spending four months and eleven days on the road. And which countries did he visit? Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador - Galapagos, Venezuela, Patagonia. He saw the Cordillera Blanca mountains, famous lakes such as Titicaca, in Colombia El Dorado, the Caribbean. Among other things, the author answers the question of whether it is good to travel alone. The advantage is that when traveling solo, you don't have to argue with anyone, you are not threatened by the submarine effect, and you can focus more easily on learning the language. The disadvantage is that you always have to keep an eye on your luggage alone, accommodation is more expensive, and only you must experience the guide, search for tips on excursions. It is hardest for a solitary traveler when they are robbed or fall ill.
