The summer of nineteen fifteen; the second summer of the war known as the Great War. After leaving Libya, he has enough money to live carefree for several months, and for now, he wants nothing more than to enjoy a vacation - the first in many years. A very long vacation, if possible. But he is who he is. And the present is always marked by the past, whether we sense it or not.
