Description
Throughout 1943, the initially insufficient production of Spitfires Mk.IX gradually increased, and the originally transitional version became the backbone of the Fighter Command's arsenal. New sub-versions were introduced into service, making the "nine" an even more perfect war machine. This publication follows Part 1 in Aero No. 29 and also addresses the use of this aircraft by Czechoslovak squadrons in Great Britain.
