This is the fifth revised and expanded edition, which significantly focuses on the area of social policy. This edition responds to problems related to the recent development of economies and questions associated with the process of modeling economic measures, thus complementing the textbook processing of this discipline that began in 2003 with the first edition. According to previous editions of the textbook, it is taught at the majority of Czech or Slovak universities focused on economics or law. Previous editions of the publication have been positively reviewed in many prestigious journals both domestically and abroad.
