Description
The world-renowned writer K. is arrested during his last visit to his homeland and tried for an alleged sixty-year-old denunciation. In connection with the classified case, the police are interested in inexperienced journalist Anna, and Michal's life has been mysteriously threatened by every new book K. publishes since his birth. These are the starting situations of the main characters in this debut novel. As the subtitle 'a novel where not a word is meant seriously' suggests, the author does not hold back on exaggeration, irony, and intelligent humor. The result is a book with a distinctive style that, thanks to its light tone, offers a genuine reading pleasure, but whose existential plot also brings a strong theme for reflection on our recent past.
