E. Vlasáková in her next book "re-examines the nearest terrain: the advancing childhood lived in an incomplete family, the amazed looking around outside, searching for patterns and acquiring one's own reason, spontaneous rejection of wrongdoings, taking on responsibility... I was on a walk with my parents. A title like a sentence in the past tense. That walk mostly took place with my mother and with the non-blood aunt Vlasta, within the borders of my hometown Kyjov, with trips to Vysočina, from where Vlasta originally came. However, also with the absent Přemysl Pittro, who permeated the text. Not so much with the unexpected, albeit longed-for visitor in the apartment and on the balcony, Mr. Karel Kolouch. More so with the retired Prague editor Ferdinand Krch, a witness of Milíč's house.
