Description
Set against the backdrop of French charm and Italian playfulness, the story of the second part of Bobulí unfolds, a successful comedy from the winemaking environment. Such is the book, where we once again meet the familiar rascals. The first one escapes the reach of the hotelier couple, to whom he brought their daughter Marie, so to speak, 'to her doom.' Where else should he hide than in Višňová, where his partner found himself and where he is trying to make unique straw wine on his grandfather's land? Not to mention his strong feelings for Klárka. Hot on his heels is the young 'Casanova,' not only the furious parents of Marie but also a hired 'liquidator,' a clumsy and unlucky fellow. The situation escalates, and all the protagonists gather in the village for the climax of the hunt for the naughty one, who has once again dragged his friend into his towering trouble. Both end up hanging by their fingertips over an abyss, both symbolic and real. The fall into it is inevitable, just like the subsequent fall of both young men into the arms of their chosen ones, which, after a grand reconciliation, ends - how else - in a wedding. The book is supplemented with a rich visual appendix of images from the film.
