Slečna Julie – Strindberg August (2011)

The naturalistic drama from 1888 is often referred to as a manifesto of Scandinavian naturalism. The story of a trio of young people divided by social status takes place on a magical Midsummer night, when hidden desires and passions come to the surface, inevitably leading to tragedy from the very beginning. It is published in a modern translation by Fr. Fröhlich as the 82nd volume of the D edition.
