Description
The catastrophic novel depicts our world just a few years from now. Zoologists, including the main character Barbora, fight for the restoration of national parks, discover the beauty of the wild, experience their loves... But viruses and bacteria are becoming increasingly resistant, and the death of loved ones becomes a daily threat. The adventurous story takes place in the near future, where contagious diseases have spiraled out of humanity's control. The centers of large cities are being depopulated by waves of epidemics, all tourist activity ceases, and due to a lack of specialists, there are disruptions in energy supplies, basic human rights are restricted, and civilization is shaking at its very foundations. In such a situation, is it even worth trying to save a few gorillas or other endangered species? This is the main question that zoologists, cut off from civilization in remote destinations, ask themselves – and thus paradoxically with the greatest chance of survival.
