Description
It is the year 1969, the republic is occupied by Soviet troops, and the Czechoslovak Television is undergoing vetting processes that will determine who will keep their job, who will improve their position, and who will be out of the picture for twenty years. The author, director, and screenwriter of more than two hundred documentary films remains true to his unconventional style, depicting the era without embellishments and illusions, and with his well-known irony, he portrays the human comedy not only at the beginning of 'normalization' but also at the upheaval that comes twenty years later. In November 1989, although the period of real socialism ends, since every upheaval is also a storm during which the water becomes murky, all the dirt rises from the bottom, and it will take a long time for the water to clear again.
