Description
Princess Raduška received a special gift: a tiny magical creature that protects her from all evil, known as Happiness in Love. It's no wonder that the ruler of hell is interested in this mysterious being. He sends the devil Kvik to steal Happiness in Love from Raduška, so that hell can finally reign on earth. Kvik chooses the Black Lord, an evil and greedy alchemist, as his ally, who manages to infect the entire kingdom, including Princess Raduška, with a desire for money, leading to dark times. Luckily, there is the valiant lad Janek, who decides to rescue the princess from the clutches of the Black Lord and the hellish powers at any cost... This fairy tale by prose writer and dramatist Jan Jílek is accompanied by more than forty colorful illustrations by leading Czech illustrator Štěpán Mareš. The humor and exaggeration characteristic of his comic-style drawings from the book create entertaining and captivating reading not only for children but also for their parents.
