Přírodopis II pro 7. ročník ZŠ – Dobroruka Luděk Jindřich (2022)

One section of the text gradually focuses on animals with a notochord (chordates, vertebrates - jawless fish, sharks, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds) and the botanical section continues with a systematic overview of higher plants, introduced by general chapters explaining the concepts of plant, root, stem, leaf, flower, pollination, fruit, seed, vegetative reproduction, etc. The structure of the text is similar to the previous title, and here too we are presented with numerous ideas for independent observations and projects, such as how to distinguish a flying stork from a heron, how titmice feed, what a woodpecker's anvil is, or how to create your own herbarium, how to work with keys, with atlases, how to prepare microscopic preparations of plant stems, how to cultivate selected plant species, etc. The concluding chapters on the relationships and distribution of plants, on exotic plants and fruits summarize botanical issues, while we do not say goodbye to zoological topics. We will return to mammals and summarizing chapters on vertebrates in the textbook Natural History III at the beginning of the discussion about the most widespread and successful vertebrate - humans.
